 The Black Knights Cadets have been established for over 15 years and have built up an excellent reputation both locally and nationally for providing a superb education to their young membership. The group have been crowned in national competitions a number of times. Members get the opportunity to learn a Brass or Percussion instrument or they can take part in the dance section of the band called the colourguard.

 The quality of teaching is very high, sessions are run by trained music teachers. Members of the band have the chance to learn one to one with a teacher and in a group situation, helping to develop important social skills and develop strong friendship groups. |
 The age range for the members is approximately 8 – 16 years of age. However, this is flexible depending on the musical skill demonstrated by the member. We are able to teach members from scratch or develop members who have already had previous experience. |
Members who do well in the BK Cadets often move up to the Black Knights Senior Drum and Bugle Corps. As part of this club members also get the opportunity to travel around the country and around the local area of Gravesham performing in a variety of organised events.
